*A Formula One race is around 190 miles long and lasts about 90 minutes, providing no safety car has come out.
*Juan Pablo Montoya of McLaren-Mercedes holds the official fastest speed ever achieved in Formula One of 231.5 MPH
*F1 cars have over 80,000 parts, and are refueled at 3 gallons (12 litres) per second.
*They can go from 0 to 100 MPH and back to 0 in just 4 seconds.
*Their special tires are inflated with nitrogen instead of air, to prevent any vapor from being produced. Even after the race is done, the tires are hot enough to cook an egg.
